Oni Oviri, BSc, MCIPS

Oni is the founder and Director of Sasare Associates, bringing together specialist Associates from across the globe. As a result of having both public and private sector consulting experience in the UK and in sub-Saharan Africa, Sasare was founded as a platform to continue the transfer of knowledge and to help develop and build business supply chains in sub-Saharan Africa for small and large companies alike.

Oni has extensive knowledge and expertise in Public, Private and Third Sector Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics Management and holds the full MCIPS status from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. An avid entrepreneur, Oni has previously run her own successful import/export company, specialising in building commodities from Europe to West Africa. Previously, Oni was a Business Development Specialist for one of the world’s top five leading medical health diagnostics groups, travelling extensively throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, reviewing the company’s supply chain as well as developing strategic relationships with government officials and NGO’s along with the African Development Bank, Crown Agents and the Global Fund Initiative. Oni additionally lectures accredited Procurement and Supply modules to Professionals and works with organisations such as CIPS, Informa and Crown Agents as a Consultant/ Trainer for their Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa clients.

Brian Sturgess, BA (Hons), Phd

Brian Sturgess is an economist who has taught at several leading universities including Nottingham, City and BBP University College. He is the Managing Editor of the Journal of World Economics, an international quarterly academic journal. He was previously an award winning investment analyst and advisor at a number of leading investment banks including ING Barings, Barclays and NatWest. He has also been a consultant to the BBC, the Telegraph Group and Crown Estate. Brian was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he read Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE)

Keith Boyfield, BSc, Msc

Keith has been an adviser to the European Commission and has also acted as a consultant to some of the world’s largest companies , trade bodies and organisations, including Aon, the BBC, the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), the Commonwealth Business Council, The Crown Estate, KPMG, Mott MacDonald Ltd., the Swiss Bankers’ Association and Thomson Reuters plc. His consultancy work focuses on the agri-business, energy, financial services, media, property and transport sectors. He has acted as Rapporteur for the inaugural Roundtable for African Central Bank Governors held in Washington DC.

Ian Tait, BA(Hons), MBA, DipPS, MCIPS

Ian has thirty years experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics management, working in over thirty countries, specialising in the international development sector and undertaking consulting work with such clients as the United Nations, Crown Agents, the European Union, the World Bank and The British Council. He is also currently the Director of a Procurement 'Centre of Excellence' training school in the UK, with over sixty professional students studying per year.

Mudassar Malik, BEng (Hons), MCIPS

Mudassar has worked in the private and public sector and is experienced in procurement, contract and general management, currently holding a senior management position in central government in the UK. Mudassar has a degree in Engineering and has experience of living and working on three continents.
